Over the past fuel oil changes (every 8000km, car has 37000) I have done on the car I have noticed the coolant level getting slightly lower then when we bought it.
Mark I am sure I have read it on this forum, the 1.4 TSI 122PS engine is a new engine and is not the same as the one in MK6. As I am a proud owner of the MK7 with the above mentioned engine, I am sure it is belt driven.

I have 1.4 TSI ACT DSG with 18" wheels, and was never able to go below 7.3l/100km. Usually its above 8.0l/100km.

So I have a difficult decision to make. I can go for a 50,000 mile 1.4 TSI or a 70,000 miles 1.5 TSI. Decision time. What would the forum vote for? And why?
Like you, I don't use cruise control, but do worry that the problem will come to light when I trade the car in. Mk7 Golf BlueMotion Tech SE 1.4 TSI B9 Audi A4 1.4 TFSI
