I just finished watching La La Land and I'm not okay. Flair: Cringe inducing gushing. I started watching this movie a while back to see what the hype was all about. At that point of time, I hadn't watched any Ryan Gosling movies other than The Notebook and I wasn't a fan. I found La La land to be quite slow moving and kept it on my watch list So I went to go see "La La Land" today alone, on the recommendation of a couple of friends, and I was literally obliterated by my feels. I think I spend the last hour or so like ugly crying in the worst way possible. I hardcore related to the love story especially with an ENFP ex of mine. Our relationship was quite similar in start (and La La Land by director Damien Chazelle won six Oscars at the 89th Academy Awards during a ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.. I was a big fan of the ending sequence in American in Paris so I really appreciated it!! But more than that, having the main characters make the hard choice and stay true to themselves by following their dreams, which feels like is what LA is all about, instead of doing the bullshit Hollywood thing
